Internships:
 
CitySERVE:CitySERVE is a program operated by the Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County and the City of Santa Cruz. Internships are available in a number of City departments including: legislative interns with the Santa Cruz City Council;Information Systems interns with a variety of departments; and recreation internships with the Parks and Recreation Department.

Seymour Marine Discovery Center at Long Marine Laboratory

What we need: Volunteers to assist with on-site school programs for K-12 classes visiting the marine lab. Training series of four sessions begins October 4. R.S.V.P.

What we do: The Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab educates people about marine science and the role scientific rsearch plays in understanding and conserving the world's oceans.

Volunteer Initiative Program (VIP):VIP is a program operated by the Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz Couty and the County of Santa Cruz. Internships are available in a number of County Departments including: Public Works; Health Services; and Information Systems.

Friends Outside:Friends Outside is a Program of the Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County that serves inmates, ex-offenders ant their families.
